Extreme Ironing News In January 2007 a member of Team N2i, Henry Cookson, successfully dragged his iron and board to the exact centre of the Antarctic: the little-known Pole of Inaccessibility.

Manhauling and Kite Skiing over 1,100 miles, over a period for 49 days, this could possibly be the most arduous and remote extreme iron yet.

Check out a short video of this on YouTube

Henry and his team mates will be talking about their adventure at the Royal Geographic Society on Wed 31st October. All ticket procedes will be going to the Exmoor Calvert Trusty which is a charity that gives disabled people a chance to experience outdoor pursuits that we so take for granted.

To obtain Ticket Details go to http://www.teamn2i.com

Steam adds, "What a fantastic achievement. Truly pushing the boundaries of extreme ironing. Sure, it was a cold press, but hey, you don't get much more extreme than Antarctica for a spot of ironing."
