The Rowenta Tour reaches its final destination: the Big Apple.
The EIB reached the Big Apple following a successful tour ironing the sites of Boston, South Dakota and Wyoming. The challenge here was Urban Ironing and coping with what some would call the extreme embarrassment of ironing in public places.

Starch takes on the Big Apple

Steam says: “We weren't allowed to iron off the side of buildings (officials would’ve soon had us banged up), but ironed for Good Morning America, Fox News and Reuters in Times Square and whilst driving round the streets on the back of a New York Taxi Cab – anyone that’s travelled by taxi in NY will know that this is riskier than ironing off any building!”

With the tour all but wrapped up, all the budding ironists have to do is pack up their irons, dodge questions from bemused New Yorkers and catch their long flight back to Blighty.

Good Morning America!

“We hope to be back to continue the spread of extreme ironing in America,” adds Short Fuse. “We only scratched the surface really – there are so many sights and landmarks that are just crying out for extreme ironing.”

“We hope that our tour has ignited some interest in extreme ironing here in America,” said Starch. “We’ve already seen evidence of interest and unofficial clubs springing up. Who knows, American ironists could be a real force in the next world championships.”

The third part of the Rowenta Tour gallery is up here. (You can also click on the images to make them bigger.)

Check out the previous diary entries Rockport, Boston, South Dakota and Mount Rushmore.

Thanks to everyone who made the Rowenta Tour such a great experience, particularly Paul, Steve, Sabastian and the team at Rowenta, and Jen, Rachel, Peg and Molly at Cogent. Special thanks to Frank for the great pictures, Shawn for showing us around South Dakota and all the destinations for making us very welcome.

You missed Yellowstone? There are great places there to steam your shirt. Some US EI fan must do it first!

Identifying that you are passing profoundly in debt is a really awful position. In able to bring yourself out of debt, you might determine that speaking to a Credit Counseling Professional master is the optimum individual to serve you. Every year, thousands of individuals notice the peace that credit counseling can truly extend them, and it is suitable that you also, understand this peacefulness.
