The Rowenta Trophy 2003

It's time to go extreme ironing.
In 2001 the EIB ran a picture competition with entries from all over the world.
The winning photos are shown below. Can you do better
and come up with a more bizarre, funny,
unusual or extreme place for extreme ironing? With Rowenta we're throwing
down the gauntlet to find out who can really take ironing to the edge.
Top Prizes
- Pictures of top three extreme ironists to feature in a book about extreme
and will also receive a Limited Edition
signed copy of the book when published.
- Most extreme ironist and photographer also receive Rowenta irons - the best in the business for extreme ironing

The Rowenta Trophy 2003
The best three pictures demonstrating ironing under extreme conditions will
feature in a book about the sport due out in October this year. Up for it
ironists should grab 'emselves a photographer and take to the mountains,
rivers, lakes, pistes and streets in search of the definitive press.
It's free to enter, and you don't need to be a member so submit as many photos as you
like.

Please read these conditions: they're straight forward but
important.
- EIB can not be held responsible for any law breaking committed in the pursuit of this competition.
- Only photos for which you own the copyright may be entered.
- You may enter as many times as you wish.
- The closing date for the competition is at 2359hrs GMT 30th April, 2003.
- Judging will be take place before the end May, 2003.
- The judges' decision is final.
- Winners will be notified by email within 28 days of the judging.
- Prizes will be sent to the winners as soon as practical by overland mail when the book is available.
- Please send the following details:photograph; location, country, name of extreme ironist
- Please submit photos with the highest resolution possible. Wining photos will be published
so high quality images are needed. Minimum resolution is 800x600 but 1024x768 or 2048x1536 is better.
- We do not accept anonymous photographs, so please make sure you give us your correct email
address.
- The EIB may use the photo in any other promotions and pass on to third parties (however we
will not pass on your name and contact details without your permission)
By submitting photos to the EIB's Rowenta Trophy 2003 photo competition you
are agreeing to the following;
- The photo may be used the the extreme ironing book to be published at the end of 2003.
- The EIB may any use the photo in any other promotions.
- The EIB may publish the photo in its galleries.
