In a rather bizarre twist, extreme ironing is set to feature in a new computer game on the Wii platform: Wacky World of Sports. It's odd because, the idea of extreme ironing is to take ironing outdoors. Now, as part of a new game from Sega, out later this year, you can pretend to ironing outdoors, whilst indoors. Anyway, I'm sure it's heaps of fun.

A British team of extreme ironists have snatched the record from under the noses of the Antipodean rivals to claim the world record for the most people ironing under water at the same time, with 86 pressed their garnments in Gloucestershire.
